Crescent Hospital practices  all basic specialties of modern medicine. All departments are headed by efficient professionals with vast experiences in their respective field. The nursing staff of the Hospital is well trained and competent to deliver excellent nursing care and cope with emergencies. Qualified professionals and assistants manage the allied medical departments.

The Hospital is equipped with modern medical equipments to accurately diagnose and effectively treat diseases. Crescent Hospital uses the state of the art Toshiba Ultrasound Scan Machine to perform abdominal and gynaecologic investigations. The hospital possesses 300mA Wipro-GE X Ray machine for radiological investigations. An additional 60 mA portable X Ray machine is utilized for imaging operative procedures. Newly added computerized Semi Auto-Analyzer in the clinical laboratory makes laboratory investigations and diagnosis quick and effective.

The hospital offers laparoscopic surgeries for gynaecologic and general surgical conditions. The Medical / Surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is equipped with all modern life saving and monitoring devices that help doctors to work with fluency and save lives of patients in critical conditions. Patients with heart attack, poisoning, stroke etc., are managed in the ICU. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) which started functioning since January 2001, is equipped with Incubator, Radiant Warmer and Phototherapy machines for taking care of pre-term and low birth weight infants. The two air-conditioned Major Operation theatres, which are maintained with utmost sterility and hygiene, are equipped with sophisticated instruments and latest machines. Full time availability of the Anaesthetist makes it possible to perform emergency surgeries for Surgical, Orthopaedic and Gynaecological conditions at any time. Taking into consideration the proximity of the National Highway, our Operation theatres are always prepared to give emergency care to road traffic accident victims. The Maternity Department, equipped with assistive devices and expert midwives, conduct normal as well as assisted deliveries. Our Physiotherapy department that began functioning on January 2001, is managed by qualified professionals. The treatment modalities include state of the art machines for SWD, IFT, UST, Traction Therapy, Muscle Stimulation, Wax Therapy and Exercise Training. The Casualty, Laboratory, X-Ray- ECG, Pharmacy and ambulance services, which forms an integral part of the Hospital, work round the clock to render emergency service keeping in par with the proficiency of the hospital.

The School of Nursing that started in the Hospital in January 2001 constitutes a glaring example of the well planned and efficiently executed service oriented schemes of Crescent Medical Centre Ltd. The school offers the 3-year General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) course recognized by the Kerala Nursing Council.
